Learn to remove hair and debris from the Kirby brush roll.
It's important to keep the entire brush roll and belt track clear of lint, string, hair, and other fibers. This will allow the Brush Roll to perform at its fullest potential.
To remove hair and other build-ups from the Kirby brush roll, use scissors to cut anything that has become wrapped around the brush roll. By cutting anything tangled around the brush roll, you will be able to remove whatever is preventing it from spinning properly.
NOTE: If you have pets or long hair that often gets wrapped around your brush roll, you might want to consider purchasing our Brush Roll for Pet Owners. It has a groove or channel that you can run scissors or a knife through to cut the hairs for easier removal.
